2009 Phillip L. Turner Fire Protection Scholarship

FAMA is offering one (1) $3,000 scholarship to a full-time sophomore, junior or senior student registered in a four-year fire protection engineering program or in a full-time master's degree program in fire protection engineering or administration. Applicants from Oklahoma State University, University of Maryland or other Universities offering similar programs will be eligible for this award.

Please note:  You also will be required to submit the following items separately:

• Letter of recommendation by professor of school or appropriate department head.
• Cumulative College grade point print-out and courses taken at the University.

DEADLINES AND AWARDS:

Application Period: 9/1 to 6/1 (closing date)
Evaluation Date: 6/1 to 6/30
Announcement Date: July, at Firehouse Expo.
Award Date: August, at Fire Rescue International
