Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Overview

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and competitive Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is looking to contribute to the growth of a pioneering Chicago-based startup and work in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment. Previous work experience in Public Safety or Municipality related companies is required. This role will start as an individual contributor with the possibility to grow into a managerial role as the team expands.

HAAS Alert is a Chicago-based startup that is transforming the next generation of mobility with real-time digital safety alerts through our proprietary Safety Cloud alert service. The Safety Cloud is the first cloud-based platform that alerts connected cars, mobility apps, and autonomous vehicles when they are nearby emergency vehicles, maintenance trucks, and other vehicles with warning lights.

What does an SDR do?

An SDR will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable initiating cold outreach (calls, emails) into Public Safety (e.g., Fire, Police, EMS) and Municipality departments (e.g., Department of Transportation) to qualify prospects and handoff to National and Regional sales reps or close smaller deals yourself.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Develop and manage your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Coordinate activities with Channel Sales team to align with partners
  • Manage process and metrics tracking through sales funnel

Requirements

Compensation

  • Base salary of $40,000 to $60,000

Plant Manager

Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Plant Manager at our Rock Rapids, IA, location to oversee the Maintainer Custom Bodies product line.

This position will be responsible to direct and organize the day-to-day operations at this facility and takes a “hands-on approach” to ensure all manufacturing processes are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating with a relatively large amount of independence.   This facility produces a wide range of truck body products including service truck bodies, rescue vehicle truck bodies, as well as our DuaLock drawer sets, and several components for Maintainer\’s mobile crane product lines.  The ideal candidate must be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

This position will have 5 – 6 direct reports with 20 – 25 indirect reports and work with a wide range of internal job functions (manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and marketing). This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. Compensation will include a base salary (contingent on qualifications) and participation in a profit-based bonus program.

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the equipment and building maintenance/improvement activities at our Rock Rapids location. (This location is approximately 39,000+ square feet including metal fabrication, welding, paint booths, and assembly equipment).

The ideal candidate must have 5 – 10 years of operation management experience in a manufacturing environment. This individual must be a disciplined, detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys building relationships and working with people. A four year degree is beneficial, but not required. Strong computer skills (ERP system experience, Microsoft Suite, etc.) is also preferred.  The right candidate must be able to plan, organize, and successfully communicate with a wide range of internal and external customers.

Director of Sales, Ambulance / EMS Market

HiViz LED Lighting is seeking to fill the position of Director of Lighting Sales for the Ambulance and EMS Market.  The person filling this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining productive relationships with Municipalities and EMS Fleets, as well as the manufacturers who build their ambulances.

HiViz prefers applicants from self motivated individuals who are interested in fully immersing themselves in the technology, industry, and relationships of this market space.  Extensive travel will be required, and adherence to a budget is a must.  Applicants must be comfortable using email and the Microsoft Office Suites.

A college degree is not required to fill this position.

Duties of Position:

  • Become an expert in Scene, Work, and Task Lighting in and around an Ambulance
    • (training provided after hiring)
  • Attend EMS trade shows nation wide
  • Set up and conduct product demonstration with prospective customers
    • Drive demo truck, coordinate demonstrative product shipments, etc
  • Attend EMS industry events (non \”sales\” related)
  • Work with company directors to create sales strategies for Ambulance market space

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working with customers in the Ambulance or EMS market space
    • sales, manufacturing, etc
  • Some level of experience working as a crew member on an ambulance is preferred
    • EMT / Paramedic
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components a plus
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Clean driving and criminal record required

This position does not require relocation, however simi-frequent travel to corporate offices in Asheville NC or Seattle Washington will be required.
